This Booking Cancellation & Refund Policy explains what happens if your booking is cancelled, rejected, or refunded when using our online booking system provided through Bookteq.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all bookings made through our online Bookteq system and outlines the conditions under which refunds, reversals, or cancellations may occur. It explains the responsibilities of both App Frod Sports & Social Club and the customer when a booking is altered or discontinued, ensuring transparency and consistency across all facility reservations.
1. If App Frod Cancels Your Booking
If we (App Frod Sports & Social Club) cancel your booking for any reason:

You will receive a full refund,

Refunds are issued directly by App Frod,

Refunds are processed using the original payment method.
Cancellations Due to Weather
If your booking is cancelled due to weather conditions:

Please contact our venue managers directly.

You can reveal our phone number through the Playfinder/Bookteq venue page using the “Reveal Phone Number” button.

If this option is not visible, please contact Bookteq customer support, who will provide our contact details.
2. If You Cancel Your Booking
If you cancel your booking:

You may be eligible for a refund only if you cancel within our cancellation window.

Each facility may have different cancellation rules depending on availability, time, and operational requirements.
Automatic Refund Processing
If your cancellation is accepted:

The refund will be processed automatically.

It usually takes a few days to appear in your account.

Please allow 7–10 working days for the refund to fully clear.

Card refunds generally process faster than direct debit refunds.
3. If Your Booking Request Was Rejected
If your booking request was rejected before payment was fully captured:

The refund is processed as a payment reversal.

You will not see a refund credit on your bank statement.

Instead, the original authorisation will drop off your account automatically.

This can take up to one week, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Processing Times
Please allow the following timeframes:

Card Refunds: Typically 2–5 working days

Direct Debit Refunds: 5–10 working days

Pre-authorisation Drops (reversals): Up to 7 days depending on bank
App Frod is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued if:

You do not attend your booking (no-show)

You fail to comply with our venue rules resulting in removal or cancellation
